About
“Bits and Snippets of the Philippines” or “Mini-Philippines” is a Twitter-like blog that highlights news and stories pertaining to and affecting the Philippines. Having been an information mogul prior to my first internet account in 1995 (meaning stocking so much pieces and binders of paper, boxes of 5-1/4 and 3-1/2 diskettes and scores of 100 MB Zip Disks), I decided to create this blog.
Mini-Philippines’ target market is the overseas and migrant Filipino but is also good reading for the local folks.
I can only recall famed journalist Art Borjal using this same format as his daily editorial style at the Philippine Star.
If you have short-news (or announcements and product introductions) of not more than 50 words, I can include it in my “snippets.” Just send it to me by Twitter @PlanetPhils or e-mail (raffy@pekson.com).
