St Peter Julian’s Church is a eucharistic shrine in the pastoral care of the Blessed Sacrament Congregation in the heart of Sydney’s Chinatown at 641 George Street, Haymarket.
The church is named after the Congregation’s founder St Peter Julian Eymard, who was canonised in 1962.
A Filipino mass is held at 1:00pm every first Sunday of each month.

San Jose / Valley Charity for Ondoy Victims

Volunteers at St. John the Baptist Church are hard at work gathering canned goods, adult and children’s clothing, blankets, towels, medicine and money for the victims of the Ondoy flood in the Philippines. Tropical Storm Ondoy ravaged the Philippines with a month’s worth of rain in a day, leaving Manila and surrounding cities with the worst flooding in 40 years.
Dropoffs can be made at Pavalkis Hall, 279 S. Main St., from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekends. Those who wish to write checks are asked to make them payable to St. John the Baptist Church, with Ondoy Flood Drive in the memo space. The Antipolo and Pasig dioceses will be the recipients of the donations. For more information, call 262-2546.
