The Great Book Blockade of 2009 (Final Chapter?)

After the controversy sparked thousands of e-mails, Facebook messages, Twitter tweets and the like, the tax policy on imported book will soon be lifted by Malacañang. The Manila Times article says that Finance Secretary Gary Teves will soon be revoking Finance Department Order 17-09 which imposes duty on book importation.
