Combined Choirs of 150 Voices to Sing Christmas Carols

The combined choirs of the COMELEC Chorale, Coro de San Antonio, Coro Tomasino, De La Salle University Chorale and the St. Paul University Manila Chorale will stage a 150 voice ensemble on December 3, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Manila Cathedral dubbed “The 4th Manila Cathedral Basilica Pipe Organ Festival Gala Concert.” The choirs will be singing Christmas song and will be accompanied by the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. Amelita Guevara will conduct.

This concert will feature a 6,000-pipe church organ, the biggest in Southeast Asia. Other performers include Ken Weber of the US, Armando Salarza from the Philippines, Austrian conductor Ernest Hoetzl, soprano Camile Lopez Molina, tenor Dominique Moralez from Fance and bass Nono Baang.
