Piano Recital at Russian Centre for Science and Culture and workshop at KJC on November 18 and 19 by a famous Pianist, Adolovni Acosta from USA

Adolovni Acosta, originally from the Philippines, performed at the Russian Culture Centre on November 18, mesmerizing the audience with her two-and-a-half hour long program. The piano concert was organized by the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory (KJC) to mark the 200th birth anniversary of Franz Liszt, German composer and pianist.

“Her musical performance was like storytelling, and the high and low notes gave an impression that the story had reached its climax. The different notes produced made her performance even more interesting and vibrant. The last piece Un Sospiro narrated the story of pianist Liszt’s beloved — it narrated what she was like and her immense love for Liszt,” the article from The Himalayan read.
